Giving you the best golfing experience possible
I am sure you will all agree the course is in excellent condition especially after all the rain we have had. We have had some issues with the bunkers which Sean and his team are aware of and are in the process of rectifying.
The rain and sunshine has caused the grass to really shoot up and as a result the rough has become very thick and long and very penal. This is being cut as I write this newsletter and hopefully by the end of next week will be much easier for all to play out of.
To help the ground staff and for all members benefits could we please ask you all to replace divots, repair pitch marks and rake the bunkers.
We are putting signs up on the public footpaths to tell non golfers who walk dogs that it is private property and dogs are only allowed on the designated footpaths. Hopefully this will stop owners allowing dogs to wander freely.
We have seen fewer instances of people on bikes riding on the course over the last couple of weeks so hopefully the involvement of the Police has made a difference. If anyone sees anything untoward then please ring and report it to the shop.
