This past weekend saw not just one team competition but two. Firstly congratulations to past Captain Steve O'Keeffe and his partner Duncan Whitehead who won Saturday's annual Herons' Reach Trophy competition with a score of 48 points just pipping Andy Miller and Steve Whittaker by a single point. Well done Steve and Duncan on a great win and get those speeches ready for the presentation night in October.

Sunday saw a new competition for us at Herons' Reach; the GameBook sponsored AM AM (Best 2 scores from 3 or 4 Stableford) and the runaway winners were of no surprise. The group of Norman Heywood, Justin Hatcher, Jim Moseley and Ian Bullock managed to compile an unbelievable score of 88 points which is an incredible 16 under par. Well done lads on a great performance!!
