The ladies held their annual meeting this week and among the various categories discussed were competitions for the forthcoming season. A new trophy has kindly been donated by the husband of our past captain Denise Harrison who sadly passed away in November 2012.

Denise's husband Roy has kindly donated what may go down in history as one of the biggest competition trophies I have ever seen. It is so big that it does not actually fit in the trophy cabinet!! The competition in memory of Denise (The Denise Harrison Celebration Trophy) will be held on her birthday week every June and is proposed to be Tuesday 17th June this year. I'm sure this will be well supported by the ladies' section who will fondly remember Denise for her wicked sense of humour and hard work in promoting the ladies section at Herons' Reach for many years. What a great way to remember her and thanks again to Roy for the fantastic trophy.
