Tip of the week - Well at last! Some good weather... You may have noticed an increase in the distance your golf ball is travelling both through the air and on the ground. There are two reasons for this, firstly, when both golf club and golf ball are warmer the transfer of energy is more efficient meaning the ball will come off the club face quicker. Secondly warm air is not as dense as cold air, therefore there is less friction on the ball whilst it travels through the air. Not only that, but the firm ground will mean the ball will run further. All these factors can increase distances on your irons by up to 15 yards and up to 20 yards on your driver! Make sure you take this in to account when playing your next round or if you need more help please contact us here or call on 01253 832505.
