This past Saturday saw a relatively new trophy competition take place and there were some great scores and stand out performers, thanks once again to Bob Hutchinson for donating the trophy.

Congratulations to Bob Nicholas on having the best nett score on the day of 64, Bob has been in some great form recently and his handicap is continuing to fall. It's great to see Bob still having success with his new Ping driver and woods we fitted for him a few months ago and that it is resulting in not only increased distance and accuracy from tee but lower scores as well. Well done Bob!!

The most important thing on the day was raising money for the Trinity Hospice and Bob Hutchinson would like me to pass his thanks onto everyone who entered and that the £71 raised from entry fees he will be doubling so a fantastic £142 has been raised. Thank you!!

3 more members walked away with brand new sets of irons this week. Dana Dickens, Sam Harper and Chris Webster all came for custom fits in the last ten days or so and enjoyed a custom fit session with me. I am sure Dana, Sam and Chris are looking forward to getting out on the course and trying their new 'toys'. I look forward to hearing about how their games have improved.
