Blind Auction Results 

Let's start with the big one; by far the biggest bargain from our Black Friday week long sale has been won by long time member Mick Ruman! 

Mick's blind bid on the Motocaddy S3 Pro with lithium battery, bag and a whole load of accessories has won him an absolute bargain. 

I won't reveal his blind bid but let's just say he has got himself an absolute steal and we might as well have given it to him for nothing. 

Congratulations Mick for being such a good sport and thanks as ever for your support in the shop.

The Equipment Survey

A massive thank you to everyone who filled in our equipment survey, the results have been collated and sent to us by our friends at Foremost and the results make for very interesting reading. 

We will be analysing all your answers over the next few days and weeks and using them to enhance our offering to you; that may be in the shape of the products we offer in the shop or the services we offer outside of it. 

What it will all add up to; alongside our new EPOS system we mentioned in the newsletter last week, is a one of the best services in the area for everyone who comes through our doors.

 

Am-Am Results - Saturday 26th November 

Congratulations to the team of Dennis Woods, Vernon Lang, Dave Cresswell and Paul Lomax on winning the team competition on Saturday. Not teeing off till 12pm obviously had its advantages with the heavy frost having thawed dramatically since the morning. 

Anyone who played early had some hard bounces to contend with which is great from the tee but makes hitting into greens really difficult. The main report from the 'early birds' was how hard the front nine was but it got easier as the sun came up and began thawing the course out on the back nine. 

But take nothing away from the winners 90 points over 17 holes is no mean feat. Well done lads!

Quick mention to Steve Norwood who holed out from the fairway on the 6th hole to record an EAGLE TWO (Nett one!!) on the scorecard. Steve holed out from 135 yards using his new PING G 8 iron, which he had recently been fitted for by us in the custom fit suite (Fitting works!!) and it was in full view all the way down!! Shock, delight and high fives ensued and as Steve said to me; a nice one for the memory banks. Congratulations Steve!

 

Christmas Draw and Christmas Scramble 

The Christmas draw is gathering pace but it is not too late to get your numbers. 

The draw will be made after the Christmas scramble competition on Saturday 17th December along with the day's prizes and numbers will be available right up to tee off. 

The Christmas draw and scramble are always a highlight of the year for us in the shop because it is so well supported by all the members and everyone has a really good time come rain or shine. It's a chance for us to get out of the shop and really get involved in the day with you guys as you play and it's a great chance for you to play with and meet people you may not normally get chance to. 

Don't forget entries are now being taken in the shop for the Christmas scramble and is open to all 7 day, 5 day* season ticket* and Herons' Club members. Pop in and put your name down next time you play and pick some numbers for the Christmas draw while your here.
