Well that's the European Tour season done and dusted for another year; until next Thursday that is!! Last week saw the top 111 players on the money list retain their tour card for next year in the final tour event of the season before the Final Series begins next week culminating in the Race to Dubai final at Jumeirah Golf Estates beginning on 17th November. The unfortunate person to finish 112th on the money list was Graeme Storm who missed out on a tour card for next year by less than £100 after bogeying the last hole. A visit to tour school beckons!

But there is no shortage of golf coverage coming up in the next 4 weeks starting with the WGC HSBC Champions from Shanghai, China with all the leading players in the world gathering once again to challenge for the title won by Russel Knox last year, and if rumours are to be believed will we see Rory McIlroy with a TaylorMade M2 driver in the bag? We will wait and see!

 

Clock Change - This Sunday!

Just a reminder that the clocks go BACK one hour this Sunday so set those watches accordingly and get that extra hour in bed!

   

Winter Wheels - From Tuesday 1st November 2016 

You may recall a couple of weeks ago we mentioned in the newsletter that we would inform you when we will be changing to the Winter Wheel policy; the date for your diary is Tuesday 1st November 2016. 

From this date ALL trolleys MUST be fitted with winter wheels to be used out on the golf course. Anyone who is unsure of conforming wheels please see notices in the shop and on the noticeboards or feel free to ask a member of staff if you are unsure. As a rule of thumb though - No flat wheeled trollies are permitted at any time from Tuesday 1st November.

Members Guest Fee Reduction 

Also from Tuesday 1st November all members' guest fees will be reduced from £20.00 to a fantastic £15.00!

So why not invite some of your friends down and let them take advantage of playing off full tees and greens all year round, especially those who are members elsewhere who may not be as fortunate as we are here to play off a full course day in day out even in winter.
