A big four weeks for competition golf
And no, I am not just talking about Dustin Johnson's controversial win at Oakmont, the Open and USPGA Championship - I am talking more about Herons' Reach: Captains Day, Seniors Club Championship and the big one - the Club Championship!!
All of these events fall into the next 4 weeks, so please be sure that you have booked your times accordingly. The important dates are -
Captains Day - Saturday 25th July
Seniors Club Championship - Monday 27th July (you must be over 50)
Club Championship - Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th July - please book your time as normal for the Saturday and you Sunday time will be allocated after your round on Saturday (will be between 8am and 12pm).
So in readiness for the big events, is your game in good shape? Are you missing something out of your bag? If you think you might then please come and visit one of our pro's Alastair or Sam to see if they can iron out that crease in your game, or give you a confidence, or yardage boost with a new driver or wedge?
We have slots available for tuition and we also have the new TaylorMade wedges and putters to demo for the next few weeks, so please take advantage of this and book your FREE custom fit today!!
And we are also offering 30% off all golf bags* in store, to compliment your potential new purchases!! We have plenty to choose from in all different colours and styles, and my pick of the bunch would be the new TaylorMade Waterproof Cart Bag. 100% waterproof, which includes seam sealed zip pockets, so water cannot penetrate anywhere! And with 30% off our original prices, that will be a huge saving! Hurry though, as there aren't too many in stock and the offer ends 30th June!
*Excludes Motocaddy.
Handicap team hit top spot!!
With Tuesday nights emphatic 0.5 - 4.5 away win at Fleetwood, Herons' Reach have risen to the top of the Mens Handicap League after the first 5 games of the season. Let's keep it going boys, and hopefully be on our way to a first ever League triumph!! An update report on the seniors and ladies teams will be in next week's newsletter.
